Independent development and testing for hydropower producers (new power plants and especially for refurbishment of old power plants) as pre-tendering studies. This work is becoming more and more important due to globalization of big hydro turbines manufacturers.

The role of an independent Institute serving hydropower producers is virtually irreplaceable, especially for the developers of big hydro in third world countries.
