Experimental fluid dynamic

Experimental fluid dynamics is very important complementary research part of the CFD as evaluation method. A wide range of the kinematics measurements using different probes, hot-wire anemometer, laser-doppler anemometer or PIV method were performed on the Kolektor Turboinštitut´s test rigs for all types of model turbines and pumps. Velocity distribution was measured in stationary and rotating parts of the model, the results were base for CFD results evaluation.
